Avoid dropping or knocking the case which could damage the poplar frame. Avoid knocking the jewelled detailing which could leave marks and scratches. Do not graze or rub the item against rough surfaces. Avoid contact with water, greasy or oily products, make-up, and perfumes. If the item comes into contact with water, dab it dry with a soft, absorbent cloth that does not pill.
Do not machine wash or use any mechanical process. Clean all items in Goyardine canvas and leather with a soft cloth that does not pill. Gently wipe the cloth over the item; avoid intensive and repetitive rubbing which may damage the chevrons or the leather. Clean the interior with a soft brush to remove dust. Never use commercial solvents or cleaning products. Keep the item in its original dustbag away from light, heat, and mopisture when it is not being used. Fill the interior with tissue paper to keep its shape. Do not use plastic to store the item.
