BIG & SMALL

Under the impetus of Edmond Goyard (1860-1937), from the 1890s Maison Goyard produced a range of accessories for pets.

With the name “Chic du Chien”, the range enjoyed immediate success in Belle Époque Paris. Funny posters by the best illustrators of the time, such as Pierre Falize, Mich and Benjamin Rabier, claimed that “the chicest dogs were dressed by Goyard” and they have since become classics of advertising art.

As a tribute to this cheeky tradition, Maison Goyard is delighted to present “Big & Small”, a visual treat where two bold dogs of slightly different size are fighting to steal the limelight from a Minaudière clutch bag and a pile of Grand Hôtel suitcases.
