Maison Goyard is delighted to present “Bannière”, its new Millésime marquage design for 2017.

Since 1853 artists at Goyard have designed and perpetuated a unique art of personalisation, adorning with initials and colourful stripes, the trunks and luggage of generations of customers.

In the past a practical essential used to recognise one’s luggage and find it easily during the great seasonal migrations of the European aristocracy, now a symbol of individuality and elegance for demanding customers, the art of personalisation by Goyard is still entirely hand crafted, in strict compliance with traditional French skills.

It was quite naturally from the heart of this rich aesthetic and technical heritage that Goyard went to draw its inspiration for “Bannière” (Banner in French), its new Millésime marquage design, which offers a variation on one of the fundamentals of the art of personalisation by Goyard: the art of the stripe.

A joyful breeze of fantasy and freedom blows over these stripes, usually so impeccably straight. Released from geometry, they come to life, dancing over the Goyardine canvas like banners fluttering in the wind.

Available in a wide variety of colour combinations, the Bannière Millésime design adapts easily to large items, such as trunks or suitcases, as well as to handbags and small leather goods.

The Bannière Millésime design will be available at all Goyard comptoirs worldwide, throughout 2017.
