Gentlemen with a penchant for all things Goyard know this Parisian address very well.
At 352, rue Saint Honoré, a place quite unlike any other is to be found. A treasure trove-cum-curiosity cabinet where Maison Goyard showcases a constantly renewed selection of exceptional items such as rare bags and small leather goods, one-of-a-kind desk accessories, precious writing instruments, finest traditional boxes and cases for cigars, watches, belts or cufflinks… Exquisitely superfluous essentials that not only epitomize the Goyard workshops’ expert craftsmanship, but also define a distinct vision of timeless masculine elegance. An exclusive one too, as these very limited edition items used to be available only in Paris.
But the love of travelling is also a key element of Goyard’s Heritage, and after the right bank of the City of Lights, the Maison’s take on men’s style has expanded to further prime locations in two world-class cities.
In 2011, the Hankyu Men’s Department Store in Ginza, Tokyo, welcomed the first retail space entirely dedicated to men. It is now New York City’s turn to embrace Goyard’s flair, with the opening of a store within Goodman’s Men Store on Fifth Avenue. In addition to a large choice of gentlemen’s bags and accessories, and iconic pet accessories from the Chic du Chien range, this quintessentially Parisian enclave in uptown Manhattan also offers an eclectic assortment of refined creations for connoisseurs originally devised for the seminal store at 352, rue Saint-Honoré.
